inHERit Health Ltd is a UK-registered health technology company. We provide personalised digital health insights and are registered as a data controller with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).3. What Data We Collect3.1 Personal Information
- User Identification: We assign icon-based usernames to maintain pseudonymity. Users may choose to hide their email.
- Demographic & Lifestyle Data: Including lifestyle habits, ethnicity, and partial postcode.
- Referral and Engagement Data: We track referral code use and engagement with the reward system. All data remains pseudonymised.3.2 Health & Research Data
- Self-Reported Data: Information related to health conditions and history.
- AI-Generated Insights: Personalised insights based on user input, stored for 6 months.
- Family Sharing: If you share data with a family member, that connection is stored. You may revoke access at any time.
- Research Data: Aggregated and pseudonymised data is used to answer ethically approved health research questions.4. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your data. We may share pseudonymised, aggregated data with researchers and institutions for specific health queries. No identifiable data is shared.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
- AI insights: Stored for 6 months then automatically deleted.
- Account deletion: Removes all data unless retention is legally required.
- Export: You may request a copy of your data by emailing [email protected]DELETING ACCOUNT:
Navigate to your profile section in app and select the Account Management tile. Write 'delete account' in the text field, as detailed in app. This will begin the process of deleting your account and all associated objects. This will remove your data and all data associated to your account. This will not remove health screenings for connected family members which were prompted by your health experience; but it will remove the family connection.8. Your Rights Under GDPR

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and inHERit Health Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the inHERit Health application and services ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.---2. Eligibility
The Platform is intended for individuals aged 16 and over. By registering or using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The Platform is not directed to or intended for individuals under the age of 16.---3. Account Registration and Security
To access the Platform, you must register using Apple or Google Single Sign-On (SSO). We recommend enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your Google account. Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature is encouraged to help preserve anonymity. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.---4. Data Collection and Anonymity
We do not collect your full name, date of birth, or physical address. Users are encouraged to use anonymised email addresses. Data is collected via surveys, health screenings, referral actions, and (in future) user-uploaded health documents. Any personally identifiable information (PII) in uploaded documents will be automatically anonymised using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and other data processing methods.---5. Surveys and Screenings
Our core surveys are developed in partnership with St Mary’s University. Health screenings are generated in accordance with NHS guidelines and based on user-provided inputs. These tools provide informational guidance only and do not constitute medical advice. Some users may find outputs distressing. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified healthcare professional to interpret or act on any health information shown in the app.---6. AI-Generated Appointment Support
The Platform provides AI-powered tools (via Azure OpenAI) to help users prepare for healthcare appointments. Outputs are generated based on user inputs and are retained for up to 6 months for user access. Outputs are not reviewed by humans and are not used to train AI models. These tools are not designed for use by clinicians and must not be relied upon for clinical decision-making.---7. Reward System and Referrals
You may earn points through the following activities:
- Completing each of the core surveys (1 point per survey)
- Inviting friends (1 point per friend who completes all 3 core surveys)
- Entering a referral code during onboarding (1 point)
- Following us on Instagram (1 point)
- Sharing health data with a family member (1 point)
- Participating in future campaigns or additional surveysRewards:
- 10 points (with 3 core surveys complete) = One4All gift card
- 40 points = Higher-value rewards
We may amend or discontinue the rewards scheme without notice. Abuse of the system, including fake accounts or fraudulent referrals, may result in forfeiture of points and suspension or termination of the account.---8. Family Sharing of Health Data
You may voluntarily share your anonymised health data with family members. You may not request access to data shared by others. All sharing connections are subject to user consent and may be revoked at any time through your profile settings.---9. Research Participation and Data Sharing
By using the Platform, you are automatically enrolled in anonymised research participation. Your data may be aggregated and shared with approved research institutions, healthcare providers, or commercial research entities. This data will never be linked back to your identity, and no compensation is offered for inclusion in such research. inHERit may publicly display anonymised research insights within the Platform for educational purposes.---10. Feedback and Suggestions
You may submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions through the Platform. By doing so, you grant us the right to use this input for any purpose without compensation or acknowledgment.---11. Future Features and Consent
The Platform may expand to allow upload of health-related documents, which will be anonymised using technical safeguards. By agreeing to these Terms, you provide advance consent to the processing of such uploads, in accordance with our privacy commitments.---12. Integration with Third-Party Services
Our Platform may integrate with services including NHS systems, authentication providers, or analytics tools. We do not control or assume responsibility for the content, functionality, or policies of third-party systems.---13. Termination of Use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, including for breaches of these Terms, misuse of the reward system, or attempts to undermine the anonymity or security of the system.---14. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful or abusive purposes
- Input knowingly false health data
- Circumvent eligibility rules or reward mechanics
- Operate bots, scripts, or automated systems
- Access or attempt to access other users’ accounts or data---15. Commitment to Inclusivity
We are committed to maintaining a platform that is inclusive and respectful of all individuals, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or background.---16. Your Rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing of your data
- Request a copy of your data in portable formatTo request data deletion, email [email protected] with the subject line DELETE. We will respond to your request. A self-service deletion feature is in development.---17. Data Retention
User data is retained as long as your account remains active. AI-generated outputs are retained for up to 6 months. If your account is deleted, data will be erased or anonymised, except where legal obligations require retention.---18. Amendments to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. If material changes are made, we will notify you via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.---19. Governing Law
