About us

About us

At inHERit, we’re dedicated to empowering women with the tools and insights they need to confidently navigate their health journeys, all while supporting the NHS. Our platform is designed to bridge the gap in women’s healthcare by providing personalized information that facilitates informed discussions with healthcare providers. By helping women prepare for key health moments, we aim to reduce unnecessary visits and promote preventative care, ultimately making healthcare more effective and less stressful.

Why we do it

We believe every woman should feel empowered and informed when managing her health. The gender gap in healthcare, especially in recognizing and addressing women’s unique health needs, remains significant. inHERit addresses this by helping women maximize their healthcare appointments, providing them with the right questions and insights to advocate for themselves effectively. While we don't offer direct health advice, we equip women with the knowledge to navigate their health journeys confidently. For instance, by connecting family history and demographic insights through inHERit, we could help women achieve an endometriosis diagnosis much sooner than the current 7 to 8-year average. Our platform ensures they arrive at appointments prepared with essential data, enabling healthcare providers to recognize patterns and symptoms earlier in the diagnostic process.

Our Founder

The inspiration behind inHERit comes from our founder’s personal experiences. Living with IBD, managing a complex family health history, and navigating three high-risk pregnancies, she understands the challenges women face in the healthcare system. With over 10 years of experience in the tech industry, she has worked as a CRM developer, solution architect, and head of product. These roles have given her a deep understanding of how technology can be harnessed to solve real-world problems, leading her to create inHERit—a platform that merges her personal experiences with her professional expertise to make a meaningful impact on women’s health.
